We are pleased to reveal that we have been invited to return to AMEC Matthew Hall (see contract #4) — this time for the new Scottish Widows headquarters in Edinburgh city centre.

Our work (ref #30) is due to begin in January 1997, and we are to produce A0 size 2.D. scale drawings entirely in modelspace for L.T.H.W., C.H.W., steam, and condense pipework through an Air Handling Plant room for co-ordination, approval and prefabrication purposes using a client (Laing Management Services Limited) networked AutoCAD release 12 for DOS computerised drawing system.

1997-04 Edit: We are delighted to have been part of the successful team behind such a prestigious and renowned Edinburgh landmark.

2002-04 Edit: In 2001, Laing Management Services merged with R.O’Rourke & Son Ltd to form Laing O’Rourke plc — the largest privately owned construction firm in the UK.
