Crown House at NSUK
May 1, 1996
We are pleased to have been awarded a small project by Ian Cockburn with Crown House Engineering Limited, Tarmac Group, (Contracting building services engineers), Glasgow, for National Semiconductor (U.K.) Limited in Greenock.

We estimate that it should take a week at most, as it involves an external gas pipe work layout drawing, and fuel oil line modification drawings. This project begins immediately.

1996-07 Edit: We completed our work successfully and on-time, and then we were asked to assist their on-site CAD department by doing some minor drawing revisions to L.T.H.W., M.T.H.W., town water, and chilled water systems.
Still under our contract ref 28, we were then asked to devise and draw a skid plant room for Building ‘C’ and the new chiller building. File management by Xtree Gold. All drawings A0 size 2.D., and done using AutoCAD L.T. for Windows fully in modelspace. All drawings broken down to A4 size, freehand, fully dimensioned, isometric sketch takeoffs for pre-manufacture. We liaised with I.D.C. consulting engineers and with N.S.U.K., and assisted in site measurement in new chiller building and in the ‘tunnel’. We also assisted Sam Lyndsey’s company in drawing production for various other projects. From an initial week’s worth, this contract expanded to a quarter year!
